Position Software Project Manager:

SST Software, the Leader in Agriculture Information Management, is seeking a Software Project Manager. Individual is responsible for keeping Business Analyst Team focused on the end goal of multiple software projects. The Project Manager must keep projects on target by providing overall direction, coordination, implementation and execution until completion of each software project.

Accountable for multi-tasking numerous software projects, making sure all run smoothly and one project is not neglected because of the other.

Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Excellent Management skills to coordinate with the entire team
  • Must be detail-oriented with exceptional organization skills
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Facilitate team meetings effectively
  • Hold regular status meetings with project team
  • Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Develop full scale project plans
  • Plan and schedule project timelines

Education/Experience:

Degree in MIS or equivalent
3-4 years of experience in Project Management
Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
Understanding of project management techniques and tools
Proven experience in people management
Proficient in project management software

Position C# Developer:

SST Software is looking for Developers that can make things happen, regardless of the platform.  This position will help create wonderful applications for backend services, desktop and mobile devices.   Systems developed will be both internally and externally facing. 

Candidate must have the talent to switch contexts and know their way around multiple types of technology with the primary technology being .NET.   Ability to deal with both large concept conversations and minute details of XSD schema change difficulties is required.

Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for writing software in a small team, with loose or sometimes strict requirements.
  • Must be able to read and understand short requirements documents and comprehend their meaning.
  • Skills should include a wide range of technological understanding.
  • Strong knowledge of C#, including .NET 4.x
  • Understanding of OOD and OOP  
  • Knowledge of Visual Studio 2010 or 2012
  • Strong familiarity with WCF, and working with Databases. 
  • Prefer experience in an O/RM like Entity Framework or nHibernate.  

 Education/Experience:

3-5 years experience
B.S./B.A. or higher Degree in a Technical Field (CS, MIS or similar)

SST Software seeks a Web Developer that can create beautiful applications for web and mobile devices.  Systems developed will be both internally and externally facing. 

Candidate must have the talent to switch contexts and know their way around multiple types of technology with the primary technology being .NET.    Ability to deal with both large concept conversations and minute details of XSD schema change difficulties is required.

 Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Strong knowledge of C#, including .NET 4.0
  • Understanding of OOD and OOP

  • Strong familiarity with WCF, and working with Databases.

  • Work experience with ASP.NET especially ASP.NET MVC, REST services, and jQuery or jQuery Mobile is essential.

Position UI/UX Designer:

Interact with Software Development Team to translate business requirements into interactive solutions. This entails the incorporation of market research, psychology, design of the human-computer interface for optimal effectiveness, inclusion of easily navigable content, and graphic design for maximum aesthetic appeal.

Skill and Responsibilities:

  • Excellent Photoshop and Illustrator skills
  • Some knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Strong layout and typography skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Team focused and collaborative with the drive to make things happen
  • Highly organized with the ability to be flexible and creative
  • Thorough knowledge of Adobe’s Creative Suite, Flash, HTML and Microsoft Office preferred
  • Ability to problem-solve
  • Attention to detail
  • Along with developing wireframes and navigation help define the look and feel of SST products.
  • Design for a variety of platforms including smartphones, tablets, web browsers, and desktop.
  • Produce designs to help the entire product team understand the desired customer experience: storyboards, flows, wireframes and prototypes

Education/Experience:

  • Understanding and experience with web/mobile technologies and user experience concepts
  • 3+ years of experience managing application layout, wireframes, and designing for the user
  • Bachelor of Arts Science degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design or a related field
